Cuomo Kicks Off Session, and Re-election Campaign

Governor Andrew Cuomo’s 2018 State of the State address is in the books. It lasted over 90 minutes and touched on a slew of legislative priorities and hot-button issues. And while we will find out Cuomo’s true priorities when he lays out his budget later this month, today’s address shows the governor’s political positioning as he looks ahead to re-election, and even a potential presidential run in 2020.
